Happy 3 years to the most wonderful man I know....the Mr. We had a great anniversary dinner in NYC to celebrate our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. It seems like yesterday we were working at the Biltmore and you were ignoring me but I finally got you! Everyday since is better than the last. Thank you to the Mr. and my best friend for the best 5 years a girl could ask for and cheers to many many more!

We are back....it was a great trip!! We got in very late Tuesday night, had a million errands to run yesterday but hopefully today I will get ourselves back on track. I took a million photos my fingers are crossed that it will be able to upload and share in the very near future. We definitely made had our share of meals and I can't wait to share all the great things we did. Stay tuned!

In the meantime I have my hands full with a few projects over the next couple of weeks and hopefully will have lots of home updates to share!

Tomorrow at this time we will be on our way to a little get-a-way!  I'm looking forward to spending some quality time simply being with no agenda and no emails or phone calls to worry with.  It's just the 2 of us, don't know that I could ask for anything more.

It's Ok

I stop mid email to check out what's on sale at Pottery Barn.

On Monday I ate chips and dip for dinner.

I'm stressed out about what to pack for our trip to NY. The weather is warm during the day and cold at night, makes packing difficult and I'm really trying hard not to over pack.

I haven't finished decorating for fall and what to start planning my Christmas decorating.

I know that Hendrix, our dog, doesn't get cold at night like we do but I like to cover him up with a blanket at night.

The Fall TV this year is pretty great and a bit overwhelming. I keep missing a couple shows and I've considering making a spreadsheet to keep track of it all.

I don't want to attempt it but I really love that new show 'Hart of Dixie'.

One 1 more work day and we will be celebrating a long weekend for our 3rd anniversary!!

Pumpkins have arrived. My church has a pumpkin patch every year and last night the pumpkins arrived. That is where we always get our pumpkins and gourds. One year we even came home with a cat, he was named Pumpkin of course. He was quite a cat he stayed outdoors. He disappeared once and we found him a few days later in the corner of the garage with a broken, infected tail which ended up had to be cut off. Supposedly he got in a fight with an animal we don't know what kind of animal or the outcome. Sorry I'm getting a bit off subject. End of story it never quite feels like fall until an evening at the original pumpkin patch and now I am ready to enjoy all things fall.

Working for the Weekend

It was a great fall weekend, really almost a bit chilly. We (as in Miss State) lost but we still had a great time. I finally saw Bridesmaids….such a funny movie. I’m now a huge Michelle McCarthy fan!

This week I’m working for the weekend. I have a full week of activities to complete then we are headed out of town for a night long weekend just the two of us. I can’t wait to hang out with my Mr. and have him all to myself with no real agenda for 4 entire days! I looked at the 10 day forecast today and the weather looks perfect. Only 5 more days! I need to start packing tonight so I have time to shop if needed. I few options I've stumble upon in the pinterest world.
