Re-Introduction

I say 'Re-Introduction' but truly it's an Intro
I have been terrible about documenting life in our bungalow this past year.
This is so very sad since it's been the most exciting yet.
So I'm vowing to do better, starting with a little into...

Name/Occupation/Age/Stats
Ramsey, my first name and yes I’m a lady.  More often than not I’m answering the phone for someone looking for Mr. Ramsey.  I’m turning 31 this month and I’m really looking forward to/already enjoying my 30’s.  I’m a bit tall at 5’10”, blue eyes, and very boring brown hair…I don’t dye and really never have, except for a hair show (test dummy) when I was in during high school…not such a great idea.

Hotel Sales…may sound glamorous but it is NOT let me assure you!  Nevertheless I enjoy it, especially when sales are going well.  I work for one hotel and do corporate group sales…for example corporate company ABC has a training class I sell them a block of rooms and meeting space for the attendees coming into town for the class.  Perk we get some pretty decent hotel discounts.

Family Info. Husband, best friend, and love of my life Blake (aka the Mr.) and we have a beautiful, spunky little 10 month old little lady, Parker Leigh.  Our oldest baby is an overweight 8 year old Hendrix, we aren't quite sure what exactly he is mix between golden, lab, corgi, and chow, he is quite a mix.  My love for our little family grows every day!

Favorite Hobbies
Family time, traveling, eating, trying to cook, decorating and redecorating, football well really all sporting events, and finding time to try new things.

This is something that helps me get motivated for school. I want to be able to travel around the world.

Five Things I Can't Live Without (in random order)
1/ Coffee…my need and dependence on coffee in the last 6 months is a bit scary.
2/ Family...yes clique and obvious but true!  They keep me on my toes and grounded.  We are very close with our immediate and extended families.
3/ Planner...it scares me a bit that we have a 10 month hold that doesn't have too many activities at the moment and we are crazy busy now so I can’t imagine what my planner will look like in 5 years.
4/ Maid…I recently caved and hired a biweekly service.  Mr. and I both work way too much and need to have more time free for Parker and each other.
5/ I guess there are only 4 unless you consider black leggings and skinny jeans a must have...haha...but really!

Favorite Family Fun Activities
Since PL is still pretty little we haven’t ventured out to too many exciting activities (at least that she realized) but some of the our favorites and on our calendar for the next year are…
Atlanta Botanical Garden (we love the lights)
Zoo
Braves Games
Farmers Market
Hiking the mountain and trails
Picnic days
Apple and other fruit picking
We love a little competitive Putt-Putt
I could go on for pages but I won’t bore you.

Typical Day. Alarm goes off at 5:30 way too early but stays on snooze till about 5:50 or 6 until I drag myself to the shower.  I’m pretty fast about getting ready.  I can be showered, dressed, make up, hair dry and out the door with coffee in hand in 40 mins if needed but realistically it’s 7am.  I’m off to work.  Work all day with a few errands thrown in at lunch and then leave to get the Parker at 5:15.  We usually get home by 6 and have a little play time or stroller ride.  Sit down for dinner at 7 and have dinner and bath.  By 8:15 we are settling into the rocker for books and bedtime bottle.  Most nights she is passed out by 8:30pm.  Then it’s my time to getting a little RF work done, clean up, watch some of my DVR and relax.  We are lucky PL is a good sleeper that will sleep until about 8-8:30 and her daddy takes her to school 3 days a week the other 2 days either Mimi or Daddy stays home with her.

I'm excited to be back and happy Friday!

Introducing....

I've been keeping this little lady all to myself
for the past 6 months and 3 weeks
but I suppose it's about time to
Introduce Parker Leigh

She has truly stolen our hearts.

Parker is like an additive reality show
I can just sit and watch her for hours.

Our hearts are filled with
joy and anticipation
for the adventures we have to come.

I am finally getting back in the grove
I was a bit thrown off by the
working mom and wife thing
not to mention might have over committed myself
to a few too many projects.

But I am back and want to get back
to documenting life in our bungalow.
So...stay tuned for more about Miss Parker
there is a lot to share.

Tick Tock

tick tock.

No baby yet....
We are anxiously awaiting.

I went to bed last night at around 10pm hoping to be awaken by water.
No such luck.
Instead I'm awaken by discomfort at 3am.
Happy Monday!!

Friday Five

I have to say it's been so nice blogging again this week.
I think I will have to keep it up.

Love joining the ladies for such a fun link up to wrap up the week!

{ one }
I'm ready to 'Pop'!

We are beyond excited to meet our little lady....
anytime now!!

{ two }
The Great Gatsby
Yes I finally saw it!
The settings and costumes were am-azing!
I wasn't overly impressed at the time
but then talking about it I realized I really loved it.
It took my back to high school Lit class.

ONLY 60 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS
I will admit I'm stressing a bit over what to wear for newborn and Christmas photos.

Speaking of the holidays.
I'm so excited that this week I got confirmation of my appointment
to see Santa at Phipps with Parker Leigh.
Yes, my child is not yet born but I scheduled my appointment in August!
And, no, I am not ashamed.

Last but certainly not least.
Looking forward to a fantastic fall wedding weekend!
We have a wedding tomorrow night,
which will undoubtedly be a night to remember.
Followed up by a little pumpkin carving and maybe even a trip to the delivery room!!
Fingers Crossed, I have a funny feeling about Sunday!

Asheville Fall Weekend

I'm doing some back tracking and sharing some photos
of our trip to Asheville last month.

The Mr.'s parents live in Hendersonville, NC
super cute town just about 10 minutes from Asheville.
It's great to visit!

Something you might not know,
the Mr. and I met in Asheville...quick version.

I accepted an internship at the Biltmore after college.
He was working at the Biltmore at the time.
We worked together,
fell in love,
adopted Hendrix,
he proposed,
and we moved to Atlanta.
Wow we look young!

While we loved the mountains and all of the beauty of Asheville.
It just never felt like home to either of us.
HOWEVER, it is a wonderful place to visit!

We had a great little trip.
We took part in our annual apple picking....

It was a beautiful day!

Had a great lunch at Wicked Weed Brewing.

Super great brewery downtown.

It was a great weekend!
We can't wait to take Parker Leigh apple picking next fall!

We love Asheville, if you ever need any restaurant suggestions just let me know :)!

Favorite Maternity Clothes

Thought I would share some of my favorite maternity finds.

Yes they have maternity clothes
Great for work attire
And they frequently offer 40% off!

Perfect for inexpensive basics
Also home to my favorite skinny jeans...I prefer the full panel
best part very affordable

Nice work pants for my friends with long legs...they come in longs!
the Supersoft Shirts (tanks, short, and long sleeves) are am-azing!

Most of my purchases here did not hold up well.
But they do have the best leggings...cropped and long.
Secret Fit Belly(r) Jersey Knit Maternity Leggings

They are slowly coming out with more maternity wear.
Maternity Pixie pant
They came out a bit too late for me but next go around
I will be investing (right word cause they are not cheap) in some basics from my favorite!

Too $$ for me but I do love their stuff.

Everything I found was super cute but.....not returnable
And most of the items I purchased didn't fit correctly = waste of $$

My advice go ahead and spend some $$ on some great basics.
Stick with ordering your pre-maternity size!!
I have been lucky enough to wear a few non-maternity items throughout my pregnancy.
I will admit this past couple of weeks I've been wearing the Mr.'s t-shirts to bed.

Happy shopping to all the expecting moms out there!

Parker Leigh Wagner

Here we are only 2 weeks away from meeting our precious little girl!

I'm overwhelmed with anticipation.
I'm not nervous about labor.
(I trust doctors and drugs)
I'm just too excited to catch the first glimpse of our girl.
I can't wait to see her little face.

Every night the Mr. and I sit around
and say in a couple of weeks/days it won't just be the 3 of us.
(that is the 2 of us + big brother Hendrix)
If it's possible I think the Mr. might be more excited than I am.

My mama is out of town until Wednesday.
I truly I need a few more days to tidy things up at work.
But come Thursday I think I will be ready!
I have delayed in packing my hospital bag
in hopes that she keeps herself nice and snug until the end of the week.

We have finally agreed on a name
funny as it was the very first name we came up with
during the first few weeks.

Parker Leigh Wagner

We can't wait to meet you!
