Cheers to 2012

It’s the last Friday of 2012!  It’s scary to reflect on how fast this year has flown by but we have a lot of great memories from this year.

2012…the Mr. has really started to brew and collect quite a lot of equipment.  We traveled to Nola for pair of beer festivals!

We also had a little get-a-way for his 30th to his dream land….Rehoboth Beach to visit Dogfish Head Brewery.

He even participated in his first beer competition.

2012…I got a few beach trips in which makes me very, very happy!!

2012…we celebrated 4 years of marriage with a weekend in the mountains complete with our new tradition of apple picking.

2012…We got to visit family and celebrate the holidays at Disney….sorry don’t have any pics to share.

Overall it’s been a pretty fantastic year and I have no regrets!!  I’m looking forward to another fun filled 2013!

Putting it into words.

Before moving on into the New Year and forget all about the holidays take a few minutes to reminisce.  Last year I started a holiday journal and this year I’ll be adding to it with all of the joyful holiday details.

Who doesn’t love getting a hand written letter in the mail?  It takes less than 10 minutes to write a thoughtful note.  This upcoming year I’m going to spend a little more time enjoying the little moments and sharing them with those I love.

Pinterest Kind of Christmas

Thought I would share some beautiful images I've found lately.
Some my say I'm obsessed but for me it's the perfect recharge for a morning and afternoon break.

I'm mad about plaid this season.

Tis the Season

Yes I’m almost fully recovered from a very busy and hormonally challenged fall/holiday season.  I feel renewed and ready to conquer a very special Christmas and ring in the New Year.  I have a great feeling about 2013 and know will be will be a very exciting year in our Bungalow.

What have we been up to you ask….well we had a great weekend in Tallahassee with my family for Thanksgiving, a wonderful long weekend in Orlando with the Mr. family, and are getting ready to celebrate Christmas in VA with my Grandaddy and family.

Between all of that I’ve managed to put up a few decorations however totally failed on the Christmas cards this year.  So friends and family don’t hold your breath for our card because it’s not coming :(.
Scenes from our holiday season thus far….

Our annual trip to chop down our tree!

yes, I cut down our little tree all by myself!!

a new tradition, the lights at the Botanical Garden

Merry Christmas and more to follow!

Week of Thankful

Thanksgiving week is upon us.  This month thus far has been filled with some very high high's and extremely low low's.  We are slowly but surely recovering and have so many things to thankful for!!  We are beyond blessed and are looking forward to another fun filled Holiday Season with family and friends.

November 2012

This year is going by way too fast.

Best family photo we could get at the pumpkin patch...

It's been a pretty busy October wish I could say I have a laundry list of things we accomplished by instead we did a lot of laundry...along with lots of up-keep things around the house.

We did get away for a night to celebrate our 4 year anniversary.  Unfortunately I forgot my camera battery, not the camera, just the battery.  I did manage a camera phone picture of our morning view.

November will bring...
Hopefully a newly painted bedroom
Completed Christmas Shopping
A trip to cut down our Christmas Tree and the beginning of Christmas decorating.
A trip down to Tally to visit family and friends plus a little football rivalry action.

I'm looking forward to a busy month and thank goodness for that extra hour yesterday I definitely used it to do absolutely nothing and it was lovely.

Where has the time gone?

It's a Sunday morning and it finally feels like fall!

I'm going to start blogging again because I miss it.  I had stopped because life got a little busy and it seemed like a burden to get online and blog for no reason but then I realized I miss it, regardless of the fact no one else really cares or reads.

So what have we been up to??
We celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary this month!

He truly is the man of my dreams and best friend, I'm a very lucky lady.

We didn't do anything too wild and crazy.  We ventured to Brasstown Valley Spa and Resort.  The Mr. loves a spa!  It was beautiful.  This was our view for our dinner and morning coffee.

Other than that it's been a pretty lazy October and I can't complain.
We did enjoy a beautiful Saturday off and made an ambitious decision to take Hendrix to the pumpkin patch for family pictures.  Hendrix behaved really well but the family picture didn't turn out so well.

Fall

Pinned Image

Nothing like a lazy Saturday morning sipping coffee, watching leaves fall and a gameday in Tallahassee to get you pumped for Fall! Until this moment I was terribly sad to let go of summer. I won't lie I'm a bit depressed in not in Tally with my family but I'm pretty excited to plant some mums and snack on cheese dip while watching the game with my Mr. and pup.

Unfortunately work has been a bit nuts so I haven't really had time to wrap my head around fall and what we are going to do this season. But I do plan on taking some more time to be with the Mr. and get in shape.
