Cheers to 2012

It’s the last Friday of 2012!  It’s scary to reflect on how fast this year has flown by but we have a lot of great memories from this year.

2012…the Mr. has really started to brew and collect quite a lot of equipment.  We traveled to Nola for pair of beer festivals!

We also had a little get-a-way for his 30th to his dream land….Rehoboth Beach to visit Dogfish Head Brewery.

He even participated in his first beer competition.

2012…I got a few beach trips in which makes me very, very happy!!

2012…we celebrated 4 years of marriage with a weekend in the mountains complete with our new tradition of apple picking.

2012…We got to visit family and celebrate the holidays at Disney….sorry don’t have any pics to share.

Overall it’s been a pretty fantastic year and I have no regrets!!  I’m looking forward to another fun filled 2013!

Putting it into words.

Before moving on into the New Year and forget all about the holidays take a few minutes to reminisce.  Last year I started a holiday journal and this year I’ll be adding to it with all of the joyful holiday details.

Who doesn’t love getting a hand written letter in the mail?  It takes less than 10 minutes to write a thoughtful note.  This upcoming year I’m going to spend a little more time enjoying the little moments and sharing them with those I love.

Pinterest Kind of Christmas

Thought I would share some beautiful images I've found lately.
Some my say I'm obsessed but for me it's the perfect recharge for a morning and afternoon break.

I'm mad about plaid this season.

Tis the Season

Yes I’m almost fully recovered from a very busy and hormonally challenged fall/holiday season.  I feel renewed and ready to conquer a very special Christmas and ring in the New Year.  I have a great feeling about 2013 and know will be will be a very exciting year in our Bungalow.

What have we been up to you ask….well we had a great weekend in Tallahassee with my family for Thanksgiving, a wonderful long weekend in Orlando with the Mr. family, and are getting ready to celebrate Christmas in VA with my Grandaddy and family.

Between all of that I’ve managed to put up a few decorations however totally failed on the Christmas cards this year.  So friends and family don’t hold your breath for our card because it’s not coming :(.
Scenes from our holiday season thus far….

Our annual trip to chop down our tree!

yes, I cut down our little tree all by myself!!

a new tradition, the lights at the Botanical Garden

Merry Christmas and more to follow!
